TPT Items

These have been my #1 selling item, and I actually was not even going to put it on TPT.  One of my co-workers (A. Guillot ;-) made a comment when she saw them on the work table, and made me realize that someone might want to actually buy these.  THANKS, Mrs. Guillot!!!

These are my #2 best selling item.  I have many different colors and patterns, but the concept is the same.  If you need numbers for your classroom, you might want to check these out.

I created this because I think I was losing my mind with all of my students out of the classroom at the same time... UGHHHHH!  So, this was a Thanksgiving project -- I pray it works.  I'm going to use clothespins for the students to manipulate their names.  The poster is beautiful blown up!  Once again, our media center ROCKS!

This is a huge hit with my kiddos.  We have word flash cards, and the students love playing "Be the Teacher", but of course, I have a few students who aren't strong in the reading dept. and feel a little overwhelmed with the High Frequency Words - but math is their specialty.  This gives them the opportunity to SHINE!

FREE for a limited time

I LOVE MATH and I love making math sheets!  I bet there is something seriously wrong with that statement, but it's just the truth!  I think I could teach first grade math all day long.  These sheets are free right now, but they won't be for long.  If you teach first and are needing some supplementary math sheets, these might be the ones for you.

I've also created some subtraction sheets as well.  (Free for a limited time)

Words to Know

So, since I dropped back down to first, my first goal was to make printables, flash cards, word wall words, and other items to help my students with our Words to Know.  Need I say, WOW!!!!!!!!  This has been a huge undertaking, but I am so glad that I took it on.  I know that the items are helping my students and helping me monitor them.

This product has over 515 pages and an explanation of each page as well.  We start our Monday with our flipchart and our Elkonin boxes, then we move to our PPT.  We practice our ppt at least 2 - 3 times a day (usually during transitions).  There are also sheets that go in the students' binders for nightly practice, as well as seat work (assessments), word searches, scrambled words, ABC order, word wall words, flashcards, and differentiated assessments as well.  I know I might be prejudice, but this is definitely a product worth viewing.  I have it priced at $10.00, but it is one sale right now for $8.00.  With over 515 pages, and the amount of time that has been put into this 12 week product, I don't think you will be disapointed.  I will put this on sale for $5.00 for 24 hours some time before Christmas, so check my TPT store often if this looks like something you might want to purchase (or follow me on TPT to get updated of the price cut).

Math Game for Addition Facts

I'm finally getting into the groove of posting products on TPT.  Here are a few of my new items.

This is called Mission Base Station.  It all started back when my 21-year-old was in third grade and his teacher (Mrs. Goudeau) was trying to get her students to learn their multiplication facts.  They played this game daily, and that's all I heard about as a parent... "Mom, I need to learn my threes so I can get to the next planet..."  Sha!  So, I did what any good teacher would do, I stole the idea and did addition and subtraction facts with this game.  The first time I did it, I had so many tears, I almost stopped the entire game.  But the following year, I preceded the game with a set of rules (#1 being you cannot cry or else you lose your turn the next day.)  I know, it sounds harsh, but I would say the same thing if I was a soccer coach, and all the players started crying because they didn't win.  I also got rid of the subtraction facts - I found it was great with 10-5, but trying to have 20 problems of subtraction using 4-1 was just so redundant.

My daughter created the astronaut clipart - and WOW - she did a phenomenal job.  She created clipart that you can print and use, or you can use your own students pictures, slide them behind the astronaut, print, and cut.  She also created the names of the planets, planets, and stars.  For years I used the planets I purchased from our teacher store, but this year, I'm using Courtney's product.  Even though it is not scaled to size - It's SOOOO CUTE!
